I found this great DIY project by Lindsay of My Creative Days.  She took a picture frame and lined it with burlap.  After putting the glass back in, you can use it as a dry erase board.  Just write on the glass with a dry erase pen and wipe it off with a paper towel.

I love the look of burlap!  This is a neat project by Trish and Bonnie that I found on Crafts Unleashed.  It’s a burlap-covered DIY cork board that has pockets.  There’s a complete supplies list.  The instructions are step-by-step and very clear.  They used some beautiful floral stencils applied with black acrylic paint.  But you could also leave the burlap plain.  View the project here…..
