Debra of DIY Natural has collected 15 different ways to use things that we normally throw away. Repurposing items like this reduces the amount of things that end up in the landfill. I have to say she has come up with a lot of creative solutions in this article.

For example: Pantyhose. When she has pantyhose with runs in them, she doesn’t toss them in the trash. Instead she uses them for felting projects like wool dryer balls. (I love wool dryer balls! They cut down on drying time and the laundry comes out so soft).

Debra also uses pantyhose to store onions and potatoes. She explains the best way to do that. In fact she has another suggestion for using the pantyhose once the potatoes and onions have been used up.

This article is filled with creative ways to repurpose things we normally throw away. It’s a way to get maximum use out of everything we own. Very thought-provoking and well-written article.
