Katie offers two different types of alcohol to use in this recipe: Everclear (195 Proof Alcohol) or Vodka(40 to 55% depending on the brand). I think your chances of surviving are much better with Vodka 🙂 She notes that the serving size for the Everclear version is just 1 shot glass.
This isn’t traditional distilled moonshine. It’s a nice, simple recipe that uses just 3 ingredients. After preparing the moonshine, you put it in canning jars or bottles and age it in a cool, dark spot for 30 days. This is so the alcohol can be flavored with the other 2 ingredients.
